If you are currently doing an Isagenix program, like the Isagenix 9 day cleanse, you’ll be enjoying the great taste of the delicious IsaLean Shakes.
On the 9 day and the 30 day programs, you generally replace two meals with the IsaLean Shakes and have one regular meal (400-600 calories). Sometimes we are asked what a 600-calorie meal looks like, and for suggestions of what a healthy meal consists of. Below are some examples:
Example 1:
Quiz: Is Your Body TOXIC? Take the Test...
(get your free personalized report)
- 1 egg or 4 egg whites
- 1 cup organic slow-cooked oatmeal
- 1 tbsp. flax oil
- 2-3 cups peppers, tomatoes, onions
- 1 organic apple
Example 2:
- 5 oz. chicken breast
- 1 cup steamed organic brown rice
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 2-3 cups mixed greens
- 1½ cups melon
Example 3:
- 5 oz. salmon or other fish
- 1 cup whole grain pasta
- Reduced-fat salad dressing
- 2-3 cups steamed vegetables
- 1 cup herbal tea with 1-2 tsp. honey
It’s important that each meal contains protein, starches, fats (good fats are actually great for the body) and vegetables.

Eat Foods Close to Nature
During your Isagenix cleanse, you are going to be removing all the bad stuff from your body and bringing it back into balance; don’t throw all that out of the window by eating processed foods that are full of rubbish. Commit to only eating natural foods in their natural state during your cleanse.

Avoid anything that has anything artificial; look at the ingredients list, and if it has lots of ingredients you don’t understand – avoid it!
Eat fresh fruits and vegetables (organic if possible) and hormone-free lean meats and non-farmed fish. Plan ahead so you don’t suddenly find yourself stuck somewhere without a healthy option (the IsaLean bars are good to have in your handbag or car just in case you need them).
Your body will really respond when you ‘fuel it’ with high quality nutrition and these amazing products. Once you discover how good you feel, you’ll never want to go back to eating ‘rubbish’ foods again.
IsaLean Shake Ideas
To keep your shakes exciting, you can try adding berries or other fruits to them. Always try to create them in a blender with ice to get maximum flavor.
We enjoy the creamy vanilla shake, mixed in a blender with some ice and a few frozen berries (or try using fresh blueberries) – it makes a great thick and tasty shake. Also try adding half a banana to your chocolate shake!
Below is an example of a shake we love from the Isagenix website:
Strawberry Slimmer
- 2 scoops Vanilla IsaLean Shake
- 8 ounces purified water
- 1 handful ice
- 1 scoop IsaFruits
- 1/2 cup strawberries (only 25 calories!)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Blend in IsaBlender and enjoy!
Healthy Snack Ideas
It’s much better to have a few healthy snacks during the day, than let yourself get hungry and then go on a binge. Stick to foods that are close to nature, rather than unhealthy snacks. Things like a boiled egg, celery, a few raw (unsalted) nuts or an apple are great simple snack ideas.
We also love SlimCakes from Isagenix; these are a filling, heart healthy and delicious low-calorie snack, individually wrapped so you can carry them with you wherever you go!
IsaDelights are another great snack idea from Isagenix, and are perfect for your cleanse days. These delicious squares of high quality dark chocolate enriched with antioxidant-packed green tea are a great guilt-free treat. If you are already a member, you can add them to your next order through your back office area.
